Interview Participation Rules

This document defines the conditions for participation in practice technical interviews for beginning developers (hereinafter "Interview") conducted by the author of the YouTube channel Boreesych (hereinafter "Organizer").

By submitting an application through the form on the site, the user (hereinafter "Candidate") confirms that they have read these rules and fully agree with them.


1. General information about the format

1.1. Interviews are conducted by the Organizer for educational and entertainment purposes.

1.2. The format involves simulating a technical interview for a Junior Python Developer position.

1.3. The main objective is:
- demonstrating the technical interview process;
- educational content for viewers;
- helping beginning developers prepare for real interviews.

1.4. Participation in interviews is voluntary.

1.5. Participation in an interview is not employment, a job offer, or an official assessment of professional skills.

1.6. Age restrictions

1.6.1. Only persons who have reached the age of 18 are admitted to participate in interviews.

1.6.2. By submitting an application to participate in an interview, the candidate confirms that they were 18 years old at the time of application submission.

1.6.3. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse to conduct an interview if it turns out that the candidate has not reached the specified age.

1.7. Technical requirements for participation

1.7.1. To participate in an interview, the candidate must have a device with a working camera and microphone.

1.7.2. The interview is conducted in video call format, so the candidate must have a stable internet connection and the ability to participate in a video call.

1.7.3. The candidate agrees to use the camera and microphone during the interview, unless otherwise agreed with the Organizer in advance.

1.7.4. In case of technical problems preventing the interview (such as no sound, video, or unstable connection), the Organizer has the right to reschedule or cancel the interview.


2. Voluntary nature of participation

2.1. Participation in an interview is completely free.

2.2. The Organizer does not charge for participation.

2.3. The candidate does not receive monetary compensation for participation and publication of the recording.

2.4. Participation is on a voluntary basis at the candidate's initiative.


3. Interview recording

3.1. The interview is conducted in the form of a video call (or other form of online communication).

3.2. The interview may be recorded in full or in part, including:
- video
- audio
- screen sharing
- live coding
- discussion of technical issues

3.3. The candidate agrees to the recording of their image, voice, and any demonstrated materials.

3.4. The Organizer may edit the recording, including:
- shortening
- editing
- adding comments
- adding graphics or titles.

3.5. Use of artificial intelligence technologies

3.5.1. The Organizer may use artificial intelligence (AI) and automatic image generation technologies to create graphic materials related to the video.

3.5.2. Such materials may include, but are not limited to:
- thumbnails for video clips;
- graphic elements for video design;
- illustrations and previews.

3.5.3. Frames, screenshots, or fragments of the interview recording, including the candidate's image, may be used for generating such images.

3.5.4. Generated images may contain stylized, artistic, or modified versions of frames created using artificial intelligence technologies.

3.5.5. The candidate confirms their consent to the use of their image and frames from the interview to create such materials.

3.5.6. Created images may be used by the Organizer to design and promote video on YouTube and other platforms.


4. Publication of recording

4.1. The candidate agrees that the interview recording may be published publicly.

4.2. The recording may be placed on:
- Organizer's YouTube channel
- other social networks
- educational platforms
- Organizer's websites and media resources

4.3. Publication may be public and accessible to an unlimited number of Internet users.

4.4. The Organizer has the right to use the recording indefinitely.

4.5. The candidate understands that after video publication may:
- be distributed by third parties
- be copied
- be quoted
- be discussed online.


5. Consent to use of image and voice

5.1. The candidate grants the Organizer a free right to use:
- image
- voice
- name or pseudonym
- interview video recording.

5.2. Usage may be for:
- publication on YouTube or other platforms
- educational content
- channel promotion
- demonstration of the interview process.

5.3. This consent is provided without limitation by time and territory.


6. Voluntary disclosure of information

6.1. The candidate independently determines:
- what information about themselves to share
- what personal data to disclose
- whether to use their real name.

6.2. The Organizer does not require disclosure of personal data.

6.3. The candidate is advised not to share confidential information, including:
- data of employers
- internal company information
- trade secrets
- private data of third parties.

6.4. The candidate bears responsibility for any information disclosed during the interview.


7. Subjective assessment

7.1. All comments, assessments, and conclusions by the Organizer during the interview are subjective opinions.

7.2. These assessments:
- are not official certification
- are not expert opinion
- have no legal force.

7.3. The candidate's assessment does not affect their professional status.

7.4. The video is not:
- an official interview
- certification
- confirmation of qualification level.


8. Absence of guarantees

8.1. Participation in an interview does not guarantee:
- getting a job
- career recommendations
- employment
- a positive assessment.

8.2. The Organizer is not responsible for any consequences related to the candidate's participation in the interview.


9. Right to refuse and terminate interview

9.1. The Organizer reserves the right to:
- refuse to conduct an interview
- terminate the interview
- not publish the recording.

9.2. Reasons may include:
- unsuitable format
- technical problems
- violation of communication rules
- unethical behavior.


10. Code of conduct

10.1. During the interview, the candidate must:
- conduct themselves correctly
- communicate respectfully
- not use insults
- not spread discriminatory statements.

10.2. The Organizer has the right to terminate the interview in case of violation of these rules.


11. Copyright for code and materials

11.1. The candidate may write code during the interview.

11.2. Such code may be shown in the video.

11.3. The Organizer has the right to demonstrate this code in the video.

11.4. The candidate is advised not to use code protected by NDA or belonging to an employer.


12. Comments and audience reaction

12.1. The candidate understands that publishing a video may cause:
- viewer comments
- criticism
- discussion.

12.2. The Organizer is not responsible for third-party comments.

12.3. Comment moderation is at the Organizer's discretion.


13. Use of interview fragments

13.1. The Organizer has the right to use fragments of the interview recording to create additional materials.

13.2. Such materials may include:
- short videos (Shorts, Reels, TikTok and similar formats);
- clips of best or interesting moments from the interview;
- educational clips and fragments for social networks.

13.3. Such materials may be published on various platforms and used to promote the channel.


14. Deletion or modification of published video

14.1. After publication, the Organizer is not obligated to delete or modify the recording at the candidate's request.

14.2. The Organizer may consider a request to delete or modify the video, but the final decision remains with the Organizer.

14.3. The candidate understands that after video publication it may be distributed by third parties and may not always be completely removed from the Internet.


15. Personal data processing

15.1. By submitting an application, the candidate agrees to the processing of data provided in the application form.

15.2. This data may include:
- name or nickname
- contact email
- Telegram
- information about experience.

15.3. Data is used exclusively for:
- communicating with the candidate
- organizing the interview.

15.4. The Organizer undertakes not to transfer personal data to third parties without the candidate's consent, except as provided by law.


16. Monetization of content

16.1. The candidate understands and agrees that published video materials may be monetized by the Organizer.

16.2. Monetization may include advertising, partnership integrations, sponsor placements, paid subscriptions, and other forms of content revenue.

16.3. The candidate has no right to demand financial compensation for using the interview recording.


17. Limitation of liability

17.1. The Organizer is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences related to the candidate's participation in the interview, publication of the recording, or its discussion by third parties.

17.2. The candidate assumes all risks associated with public participation in video recording and its placement on the Internet.


18. Changes to participation rules

18.1. The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to this document.

18.2. The current version of the rules is always published on the Organizer's website.

18.3. Continued use of the application form and participation in the interview means the candidate's consent to the current version of the rules.


19. Agreement with rules

By submitting an application to participate in an interview, the candidate confirms that:
- they have read this document;
- they understand the interview format;
- they voluntarily agree to recording and publication;
- they accept the subjective nature of the assessment;
- they participate without financial claims against the Organizer.
